Shipping Policy

Standard shipping via USPS Free for order $75 or more of value. Otherwise, price will be dynamic and will reflect carrier cost based on shipping destination.  

Order Processing

We work hard to get your order out quickly. Most orders ship the same day or within 1–2 business days (up to 48 hours) after your order is placed.

All orders are shipped from our U.S. warehouse in San Diego, California.

Please note: orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or major holidays.

 

Delivery Notifications & “Delivered” Tracking Status

In rare situations, a customer may contact us because tracking shows their package as “Delivered”, but it hasn’t been located yet.

This happens occasionally (very uncommon). Our hats are shipped cardboard boxes. Depending on your carrier and delivery route, your package may be placed:

  • Inside your mailbox

  • In a parcel locker

  • Near your front door or porch

  • With a building concierge / leasing office

  • In a secured package room (apartments)

 

If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you don’t see your package right away, we recommend:

  1. Check your mailbox first

  2. Ask anyone at your address who may have picked it up

  3. Wait until the end of the day (delivery scans may update before actual drop-off)

  4. Contact the carrier directly for a delivery GPS scan or confirmation

Once your package is in the carrier’s hands, delivery is managed by the carrier, and unfortunately we are unable to control final drop-off location or timing. However, we’re always happy to assist if you need support.

If you believe your order is missing after delivery confirmation, please contact us within 24 hours so our team can document the issue and help guide you.

 

Discount Codes & Promotions

If you forgot to apply a promo code at checkout, no problem — we can often help.

To request a discount adjustment:

  • Please email us within 24 hours of placing your order

  • If the order has already shipped, we may not be able to apply the discount retroactively

 

Domestic U.S. Shipping

Standard Shipping

Most customers receive their BigHeadHats order within 3–5 business days after processing.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping options and pricing vary by destination and are shown at checkout.

Please note:

  • UPS Ground is not considered expedited shipping (it typically takes 1–5 business days)

  • For faster delivery, select USPS Priority or Express options (when available)

 

While we do our best to process orders fast and ship using your selected method, delivery speed is ultimately determined by the carrier. For this reason, we cannot guarantee delivery timelines once the package is in transit.

Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the delay was caused directly by our fulfillment team (example: a processing error or incorrect shipping method selected by us).

 

UPS Ground

UPS Ground typically delivers within 1–5 business days, depending on your location.

 

International Shipping (Worldwide Delivery)

We proudly ship worldwide. International shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on live carrier pricing, and you will be able to choose the option that works best for you.

Customs, Duties, VAT & Import Fees (International Orders)

International orders may be subject to customs fees, duties, VAT, and import taxes based on your country’s regulations.

Please note:

  • These charges are not included in your order total unless stated otherwise

  • Any duties/taxes owed are the responsibility of the recipient

  • Carriers and customs authorities may require payment at the time of delivery

If a package is rejected due to unpaid duties or taxes and returned to us, we are unable to refund the original shipping charges that were incurred.

Customs processing can also cause delays, which may be outside our control. In some countries, tracking updates may be limited once the package enters the local delivery network.

 

International Shipping Fees (Non-Refundable)

International shipping charges are non-refundable, except in the rare event that a package is confirmed lost in transit.
